How can Web Design help with conversion rates to my website?

Now creating a website can be very difficult depending on the way in which you want it to be displayed i.e. for a business it is going to be very professional by using a very formal tone and words, however; as a personal site it would differ by being a lot more informal with a lot of colour and more interactive features. But the main result you want out of this whole thing is gaining attention from users.

Now, creating a website is all well and good, but if you can get your name out there and show it to people then only then will you see the ‘visiting’ rates increasing. One very good tool that helps you show this is ‘Google Analytics’. It gives you a range of data such as how many people visit your site per day, where the visits come from i.e. which country, how long people spend on your site etc. Therefore, this all helps you to see how much users your website generates over a period of time.

Another way that will also help with conversion is the ‘structuring’ of your website. What you’ll find is that depending of the purpose of your website, you will gain attraction i.e. if your main idea is for people take help and advice support from you; then having your company email and telephone number placed on your site would be a good way in generation customers like that. Although; if you want to offer products or more information about your company, then having an item like an e-brochure or e-booklet will give users an opportunity to take something away with them.

All in all, when coming to web design; the main thing is knowing what you’re going to do and how you’re going to do it! That way you will always get the results you want!
